Wild Track
Audio recorded without picture — ambiences, lines, or effects — for editorial flexibility later.

Wire Work
Harness-and-wire assisted flying, hanging, or enhanced movement, usually removed digitally or framed to hide the rig.

Wrap
The end of a shoot day or of principal photography. Also used as a verb: to finish filming.
Writer's Room
The collaborative staffing model (especially for series) where writers break story and draft under a showrunner.
